The results from the 24th Annual Stellar Awards were announced on January 17, 2009 from the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee.

Hosted by Donnie McClurkin, Sinbad and Dorinda Clark-Cole, the televised event was highlighted by multiple performances, including songs from Lee Williams & The Spiritual QC's, Dionne Warwick, Da' T.R.U.T.H., Heather Headley, Tye Tribbett & G.A. and Kirk Franklin.
