SHOUTfest '07 SETS NEW RECORDS IN STRONG LABOR DAY WEEKEND OPENING WITH 20,000 CONCERT-GOERS
UNITY WITH LOCAL CHURCHES UNDERSCORES RECORD ATTENDANCE

(Nashville, Tennessee) -- September 6, 2007 --Trumpeting the mission statement “Let The Walls Fall Down!” through the music and message of top national Christian artists and speakers, SHOUTfest ’07 launched with record setting results this past weekend over the Labor Day holiday.

In the first weekend...
- 20,000 people attended SHOUTfest
- 15,000 Books of Hope were distributed
- Hundreds of people came forward for ministry with 123 first time decisions for Christ.

“This was the most effective weekend in the history of SHOUTfest which is a testament to the purpose and heart of founder Jeff Roberts who wrote the slogan: "SHOUTfest...Let the walls fall down,” noted SHOUTfest General Manager, Van L. Hohe. “In each city last weekend we witnessed groups of churches coming together hand in hand to reach their community for Christ. SHOUTfest is intended to be more than a tour...it is a tool for the local church. When believers come together under a common purpose, there is no limit to what can happen,” Hohe added.

Launching September 1st with the most name artists, major sponsor alliances, and the biggest staging yet for Christian music’s most ambitious annual youth driven concert event, SHOUTfest will reach more than 20 national markets in its’ September thru November run.

Jeremy Camp, Jars Of Clay, Superchick, and Pillar lead an array of more than 20 bands and solo artists who will rotate into the line-up being presented on two live stages.

Other artists set to be featured on the tour market-to-market include, Building 429, Bebo Norman, The Afters, Starfield, Seventh Day Slumber, Shawn McDonald, Jump 5, Everyday Sunday, Storyside B, Group 1 Crew, Nate Huss, Inhabited, After Edmund, Article One, Starlit Platoon, Cali, and Lyrycyst.

Strategic ministry partners for the ’07 presentation include Book Of Hope USA who through major donor funding have produced a special magazine version of the Bible which will have potential of reaching 100,000 concert goers onsite at this year’s Shoutfest as a free of charge ministry tool.Teen HopeLine.com whose inter-active web ministry is a major national youth outreach for prayer and ministry resources. Compassion International whose global work has resulted in Christian sponsorship of the world’s neediest children. Hearitfirst.com which has become a major influencer site for Christian music and news.
