Leslie Nease (right), on-air personality for New Life 91.9 (WRCM) in Charlotte, N.C., is among the cast members who will compete in the CBS' "Survivor: China," the first American television show to be filmed in China. Now in its 15th season, the newest version of the long-running reality show will premiere on Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on CBS.
Nease, who is married and has four children, has been with New Life 91.9 since 2004. Currently serving as a mid-day announcer, Nease has been off the airwaves since she left earlier this summer to film the reality show in China. She will be able to return to the station once the season finale has aired.

A self-proclaimed fan of the show, Nease had auditioned for the show for the past five years. And as her cast bio on cbs.com states, "She never let the rejection get her down, but instead allowed it to fuel her passion for the adventure. Finally, after 11 audition tapes, her dream is coming true."
