THE GENEROUS MR. LOVEWELL, “hits the ground running,” and it’s running straight toward mega-hit status.
Every cut on this new CD is certain to become a favorite. But if I did have to pick my favorite (and it wouldn’t be easy), it would have to be the title cut, The Generous Mr. Lovewell. This feel good tune is one of those that’ll have you singing along and hitting the repeat button over and over again. It’s not just a song, though. The Generous Mr. Lovewell is an entire campaign to get people to share their “Lovewell” stories (stories of how someone showed them unconditional love) with others. In addition to The Generous Mr. Lovewell, there are plenty of other “feel good” songs on this exceptionally produced and performed CD. Both the lead tune, This Life, as well as the aforementioned Back to You, will set your heart soaring.
Of special note is Crazy Enough. This song challenges us to think about the concept of
how love really could change the world, and it’s just a “crazy enough idea to work.”
Only You Remain is a worshipful song that reminds us that whatever happens (floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, or even the shake-ups in our personal life), God remains. And the song Beautiful is a poignant reminder of how God sees us, in spite of how we see ourselves.
