KIRK FRANKLIN

Statement from Carla M. Williams
Vice-President & General Manager, Fo Yo Soul Entertainment

I spoke with Kirk at least several times yesterday. Yesterday they had lunch with Vice-President of Uganda Dr. Gilbert Balibaseka BuKenya, on their way back to hotel; a riot broke out, 7 people according to AP were killed. Kirk, entourage were held at a Police Hut for 5 hours; when they were finally released, rioters throwed rocks at their bus, the Uganda security on their bus opened fire with his AK 47, so Kirk, group were pretty shaken by incident but they are all fine, prepping for tonight’s concert in Entebbe, Uganda; they leave tomorrow for Narobi, Kenya, all of next week they are in Japan (Osaka, Tokyo). Thanks for keeping them in prayer.
