JASON CRABB STEPS INTO SOLO SPOTLIGHT AT GMA WEEK

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — In preparation for his June 30 national solo debut, Spring Hill recording artist Jason Crabb made several high profile appearances during GMA Week in Nashville. In addition to a string of media interviews promoting the new project, Crabb gave the finale performance at the SGMG 2009 Harmony Honors Celebration Concert and capped the week as part of an all-star tribute to the late Dottie Rambo at the 40th Annual GMA Dove Awards.

Among the highlights of Thursday’s live Dove Awards broadcast on Gospel Music Channel, Crabb joined Sandi Patty; Larnelle Harris; Ronnie Milsap; Kim Hopper; Brian Free & Assurance; and Reba Rambo McGuire, Dony McGuire and Destiny McGuire for a show-stopping performance of “I Go To The Rock,” paying tribute to the late singer/songwriter and GMA Gospel Music Hall of Famer Dottie Rambo.

Earlier in the week, Crabb also performed at the SGMG 2009 Harmony Honors Celebration Concert. Country music icon Barbara Mandrell was presented the SGMGPresident’s Honor, and Crabb closed the evening with “Walk on Water,” a selection from his forthcoming solo debut. In addition to Crabb, the event featured performances from some of the top names in Southern Gospel music, including Karen Peck & New River; Kim Hopper; Crabb Revival; Aaron & Amanda Crabb; Mike & Kelly Bowling; and the Perrys, among others.
