2 Timothy 3 (NLT) The Dangers of the Last Days
1 You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. 2 For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. 3 They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. 4 They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. 5 They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that! 6 They are the kind who work their way into people’s homes and win the confidence of[a] vulnerable women who are burdened with the guilt of sin and controlled by various desires. 7 (Such women are forever following new teachings, but they are never able to understand the truth.) 8 These teachers oppose the truth just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses. They have depraved minds and a counterfeit faith. 9 But they won’t get away with this for long. Someday everyone will recognize what fools they are, just as with Jannes and Jambres.

People wonder why their prayers don’t work. One reason may be they are full of worry and anxiety and unforgiveness. Most of us want someone to pray and get the Victory for us but we still want to hold on to our cares, problems, unforgiveness, bitterness, envy , strife, etc.

1Peter 5:6-9 amp This is what You do!!!!!!!
6Therefore humble yourselves [demote, lower yourselves in your own estimation] under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you,
7 (You) Casting the [c]whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, [d]once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you [e]watchfully.(B)

8Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [[f]in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour.

9Withstand him; be firm in faith [against his onset--rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined], knowing that the same ([g]identical) sufferings are appointed to your brotherhood

Philippians 4:6 (Amplified Bible)
(YOU)Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition ([a]definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.

Matt 6:33-34 33
But ( YOU) seek ([e]aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness ([f]His way of doing and being right), and then all these things [g]taken together will be given you besides. 34So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble.

- We Must Promise God that we will: Make a Quality Decision to

1) Never doubt anything that we read in His Holy Word., HIS WORD IS TRUE

2) The moment we read it we will put it into practice. James 1:22 Be doers not just hearers

3) We might not understand at the moment but we will pray and ask the Holy Spirit to give us revelation of His Word and remember it for us

4) “Faith comes by hearing and by hearing the Word of God” Rom 10:17

5) Do not read just to be reading and finishing in one year. Read and reread to get understanding.

6) Repent for worrying for worry is a sin. He tells m us not to.

7) WE have to make a decision not to worry

8) God is not going tot tell us to do something we can not do.

9) He is our burden bearer.

- Deal with Anxieties:

1) Cast ALL your cares on HIM and LEAVE them with HIM

Keep your eyes, thoughts, on HIM
Philippians 4:8 (King James Version)
8Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

2 Corinthians 10:5 (New American Standard Bible)
5You are destroying speculations and every (A)lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and you are taking every thought captive to the (B)obedience of Christ,

(2) WATCH YOUR WORDS Matthew 15:17-18 (Amplified Bible)

17Do you not see and understand that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the abdomen and so passes on into the place where discharges are deposited?

18But whatever comes out of the mouth comes from the heart, and this is what makes a man unclean and defiles [him].
