ED LEONARD ELECTED CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD FOR THE GOSPEL MUSIC ASSOCIATION
Hendersonville, TN (May 1, 2009) - Ed Leonard, president of Daywind Records, was elected to serve as chairman of the board for the Gospel Music Association (GMA) during their annual meeting at GMA Music Week in Nashville, Tennessee.
The GMA was founded in 1964 with the goal of exposing, promoting, and celebrating the Gospel through music. John Styll, president of the GMA, expressed his confidence in Leonard’s involvement in this effort. “Ed Leonard has served the Gospel Music Association as a dedicated volunteer and a proven leader for many years. I am thrilled that the board elected him to be their new chairman, and I look forward to working with him."
